What to Bring and Expect

 

We have an extremely high success rate and you should plan on taking fish home if desired. 

 

-License- Must have at time of departure, and it must be signed. However, children 15 and under are not required to have a fishing license in CA.  You can also purchase fishing licenses through CA DFG website.

- Ice Chest- To take your catch home.  Cleaned and bagged of course!  Please leave your ice chest in your car until the trip is completed.  We have a large ice chest on board for your food and drinks.

- Lifejackets for children-Christophel's Guide Service provides lifejackets for our clients, but for children under 13yrs of age, it is recommended you bring a vest for them to ensure a comfortable fit.

- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and proper clothing.  It can be chilly in the morning and warm nicely by 10:00.  Additionally, a weather report for the area is available under the local weather tab.

-Camera- You will be in one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of California and catching some great fish.

-Food and drinks.  Christophel's Guide Service will have water on board, however please bring any snacks and your favorite beverage to enjoy while out.
