Marc is the only lake guide who lives in Truckee, which gives him an advantage and ability to constantly monitor and fish the lakes in which he books trips on.  He keeps connected with what and where the best bite is throughout the year.  Since he calls Truckee home, these lakes are truly his back yard and his experience shows to the time he has spent fishing them.  He has always had a passion for fishing, and learned at a young age to be diligent and patient to learn the habits of the fish he is going for, and thus has led to his success.  His success rates for putting fish on board always given his customers a trip they can remember.  Marc enjoys to not only put fish on for his customers, but likes to educate them so they become more familiar with the area lakes and are able to reproduce the results on their boats as well. Marc is well versed and up to date on the habits of the area fish, colors and lures to catch them.  Most of all, Marc is committed to working hard to give you and your family or friends a trip they will truly remember.

 

 With safety as our first priority, Marc is certified by the National CPR Foundation for CPR and First Aid.  In addition to our extensive experience on the water, Marc has completed and passed the Boating Safety Course provided by Boat U.S. that is approved by the NASBLA and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.

 

Christophel's guide service believes in providing our clients with the best equipment available in the industry and has a fully equipped 21' North River Seahawk with a 150hp Honda outboard, 8hp Honda kicker, 4 Scotty electric downriggers, Lowrance HDS LIVE sonar, Minn Kota I-pilot and Air Ride captains chairs.    We also have a full canopy and heater if needed to be comfortable.  We will provided all gear and equipment as well as clean your fish when the trip is completed. You will be fishing with Lamiglas rods in conjunction with Abu Garcia reels.   This all topped with Mack's Lure sling blades and lures, and the stage is set to slay the fish.  It's time to book your trip and create a memory  of "catchin" in the beautiful Truckee area with Marc and Christophel's Guide Service. 

 

To keep your fishing experience enjoyable and provide plenty of room for you and your friends, we limit our trips to up to 3 passengers.

 

Christophel's Guide Service is licensed, bonded and insured. We are also legally permitted to fish on Forest Service land.
